RSVP for Grandparents & Grandpals Day: Thursday, 17th April 2025

Dear Saltus Community,

We are delighted to extend our invitation to Grandparents & Grandpals Day on Thursday, 17th April 2025.

This will be the first time that we have extended this invitation to all grandparents and grandpals in our community from Junior Kindergarten-Grade 9. 

Due to the sheer number of grandparents and grandpals we are expecting, we have created a staggered programme. This will also allow those grandparents and grandpals with grandchildren in multiple grades to attend more than one programme on the day if they wish. 

We understand that that many parents will be responding on behalf of their child’s grandparent or grandpal. It is essential that you RSVP and select ALL times that they will be attending. 

Please note that parking is extremely limited and everyone attending should be mindful that they will need to arrive early or consider carpooling. As part of our RSVP form, we have asked people to indicate if they have any accessibility issues and we will do our best to accommodate.

We are looking forward to a wonderful celebration of all of our cherished grandparents and grandpals.

Group 1: JKC and KG from 9:00-9:45 am

Group 2: JKW/JKS and Grade 1 from 10:00-10:45 am

9:00-9:45 am Formal presentation in the Haygarth Gym

9:45-11:00 am Classroom visits and tour of the St. John’s campus.

11:00-11:30 am Formal presentation in the Haygarth Gym

11:30-12:30 pm Kite flying on the field.

1:15-1:45 pm Formal presentation in the Haygarth Gym

1:45-2:45 pm Kite flying on the field
